Novae Group is a diversified (re)insurance business operating through Lloyd's of London. The Group is headquartered in London and has been listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1998. Novae writes both insurance and reinsurance in the property, casualty and marine, aviation and political risk markets. As part of the Lloyd’s market, Syndicate 2007 enjoys the overall A (A.M. Best), AA- (Fitch) and A+ (Standard & Poor’s) Lloyd’s ratings.

Matthew Fosh, Chief Executive Officer
Matthew joined the Group as Chief Executive Officer in November 2002. In 1989, he co-founded Seagray Fosh Futures Limited, a company involved in the sale and execution of equity and fixed income derivatives, which grew to become one of the largest derivative brokers on LIFFE before its sale to ICAP plc in 2002. He has sat on the Council of Lloyd’s as a representative of Novae Corporate Underwriting Limited since February 2010.
Reeken Patel, Chief Financial Officer
Reeken was appointed as Chief Financial Officer on 2 March 2017. He joined the Company in July 2014 as Chief Risk Officer, leading the risk, actuarial, reinsurance and exposure management functions. He acted as interim Chief Financial Officer from November 2016. Reeken is a qualified actuary with over 16 years’ experience and prior to joining Novae he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and their London market actuarial leader.
